I rarely venture up to Venice unless it is to meet friends.  I convinced my co-workers Vogt and McCoy to join Classpass so when they took that leap,  I was happy to meet up with them and take their first class with them.  Since they love yoga as much as I do, we figured Yoga was a great start to our day.  I had heard many great things about the Yoga Collective and this was the perfect opportunity to test out their classes.

The class gets packed fast, so if you are visiting this studio, make sure you give yourself plenty of time to park and check in.  The studio is one large room that can fit around 20 – 40 people.  The class consists of the typical yoga flow postures starting with sun salutations and continues into a power flow.  Depending on your learning style, if you are new to yoga, the classes are great because they repeat many of the poses over, giving you the perfect opportunity to practice each pose again.  However if it’s your very FIRST time starting yoga, I would recommend taking a slower paced class to help you learn the basics first before heading into a flow that may overwhelm you.  Power flow is a great class to help build your foundation and work up a good sweat.  I love every yoga class I attend.  It calms and relaxes me physically, mentally and emotionally.  Maybe I’m biased because I use to religiously practice it everyday but when I step back onto my mat, I can’t help but feel comforted.
